Let it Hang -- Maison Martin Margiela T Shirt with Strap

(Below) Wearing ASOS Jeans with Balenciaga Sneaker

Spring means only one thing for me; the inevitable cleaning and reorganization of my never-big-enough closet. At the bottom of a very neatly folded (So what! I use one of those Flip Folds and I love it!) ex-love-shirts, I stumbled upon this MMM t-shirt from way back that I don't even remember owning it - -! I instantly fell in love with its superb quality of cotton and the simple but awesome strap detail, again. So I put away my Flip Folds (laugh all you want, we all know it's a great invention!) and took these photos. This is why I never throw out any of my clothes, because you never know what your "flirtatious" taste might want. So dig deep into your closet and find the shirt that once you promised that you'll love him/her forever, or at least for that season...

Maison Martin Margiela Broken CD Sweat Shirt

Why Do All Good Things Come To An End?

I hated the movie <2012> because it is so badly plotted and "animated". I've been sort of a "drama king" who can easily be deceived and fooled by fictions. I might never shed a tear for things that are happening in real life, but I'm somehow so easily touched by movies and music. Nevertheless, I was not even a bit touched by <2012>. It was like paying money to let someone ridiculing about how stupid and naive you are. The civilization might come to an end but the things really frustrated me are those happening right now: McQueen's death, Margiela's leaving, Balenciaga's fall out, and Blogger 00 o 00's stop blogging. Fashion is so illusory to follow and I wonder how long the passion lasts? The good things might come to and end for various reasons, but they can all be categorized as "being sick of what we are doing". The sweatshirt is a piece from Margiela's last collection and the broken disc must have portrayed how Margiela and many of us recently feel: sick sick sick and "BREAK"!

Maigiela's collection are sold at www.thecorner.com
(see, I'm still passionate about shopping. That'll help me survive for a while)

Stella McCartney For GapKids.... or Big Boys Like Me

Stella McCartney for Gap Kids
Band Jacket

Gap is chic. Stella is genius. The last thing for a economic brand to do is trying to be fancier. Forever 21 has successfully made its name "cheaper" than their price tags by producing massive low-quality knock-offs. Gap, on the other hand, has always focused on basic essential pieces with quiet designs and with minimum efforts, it has made its way through this noisy frugalista-fashion market. Gapkids is always better than gap grown-ups. Maybe it's because everything looks cuter when smaller. This time, Stella has made Gapkids even cuter and the grown-ups even more jealous. I adore the band jacket!! It reminds me of Hedi Slimane. What a pity that I am too big to fit into a XXXL. I feel like a stupid giant though I am a size 46. Anyway, the collection features many cashmere pieces and are priced at relatively reasonable prices. There are also elements from Stella's own line such as the leopard print intarsia sweater.

Public Letter to Stella McCartney:

Dear Stella, can I have a band jacket like those in my size? Also, so hoping you can launch a line for menswear. Say hi to Mr. Paul McCartney:)

Modeling for Maison Martin Margiela s/s09

Martin Margiela Lookbook S/s09

The Maison of Margin Margiela is a house of boldness & creativeness. You may never tell which number stands for which line, but you can easily pick out the pieces by Margiela. I fell in love with this camel jacket the first time I saw it on the long-gone E-luxury. I didn't even got a chance to buy it before they shut down E-luxury. I've been one of their loyal customer and clearly, my only support is far from enough to run the business. Every house is opening their on-line stores and I personally see great futures of online luxury retailing. Why they closed it?! Anyway, I was very lucky to find this jacket at Lane Crawford in Beijing and it was on sale. There was only one left and it is one size larger. I bought it anyway... I've considering bringing it to a tailor for alternation but I haven't found a tailor that I can trust enough to do the nip/tuck.

The house also has a unique accessories line. This bangle I bought at TheCorner is one of the my favorites from its ss 09 collection. Unfortunately, even a small didn't quite fit my wrist and it looks odd hanging around my wrist. So I returned it.

Again, can someone reopen E-luxury?
